About TeSA TIP Alliance
The TechSkills Accelerator (TeSA) for Institute of Technical Education (ITE) and Polytechnics Alliance (TIP Alliance) is an industry-led initiative driven by the Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) and supported by industry partners. Launched in September 2022, it is co-chaired by the Singapore Computer Society (SCS) and SGTech.
The TIP Alliance aims to place and train graduates with tech qualifications, drive the shift in hiring practices in industry from qualification-based to skills-based, give capable jobseekers equal opportunities to succeed, and shape the school curriculum to stay relevant with industry trends.
With TIP Alliance, students and graduates from any ICT related programme can look forward to kickstarting exciting tech careers in various sectors through the following opportunities: enhanced internships, on-the-job training via apprenticeships, and opportunities to obtain further education and industry-recognised certifications.
