About SFw for ICT
The Skills Framework for Infocomm Technology (SFw for ICT), jointly developed by IMDA and SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) as part of the TechSkills Accelerator (TeSA) initiative, promotes ICT skills mastery and lifelong learning for individuals, employers, and training providers. The SFw for ICT provides useful information on career pathway, existing and emerging skills, occupations, job roles opportunities and training programmes.
In March 2025, IMDA refreshed the framework to incorporate 9 new Generative AI (GenAI) technical skills and competencies for AI Users and Practitioners, alongside ethics and governance considerations for the responsible use of AI.
